Delete Your Bepari Data

Use the controls inside Bepari to delete local business data, Google Drive backup packages, or an individual shop. These are separate deletion actions.

Your Google Account

Bepari does not create a separate Bepari account. Users sign in with an existing Google Account.

Deleting Bepari data or disconnecting Bepari does not delete the Google Account itself.

Delete local Bepari data

In the Bepari app, follow this path:

Settings > Privacy & Data > Delete Local Data > Delete

After you confirm, Bepari removes business records and managed local data covered by this action, including applicable shop records, customers, suppliers, products, purchases, Bahi Khata records, income, expenses, shopping data, Bill Book data, managed local media, notification inbox data, and local backup or recovery-key caches.

Deleting local data does not delete existing Google Drive backups. Use the separate cloud-backup deletion control if you also want recognized Bepari backup packages removed from Google Drive.

Delete Google Drive backups

Make sure the intended Google Account is connected in Bepari, then follow this path:

Settings > Privacy & Data > Delete Cloud Backups > Delete

This deletes recognized Bepari backup packages from the connected Google Drive account's private app-data storage. Local Bepari business data remains on the device.

The Google Account itself is not deleted. Google Drive recovery or key material used by Bepari's supported backup-recovery process may remain after backup-package deletion.

Delete an individual shop

In the Bepari app, follow this path:

Settings > Manage Shops > Delete Shop > Delete

This permanently deletes the selected shop and the associated records covered by the in-app confirmation. The last remaining shop cannot be deleted through this control.

Existing old cloud backup snapshots are not automatically deleted or rewritten. An older backup may therefore still contain a shop that was deleted from the device.

Information that may remain

  • Google Drive backups remain after local-data deletion unless you separately delete the cloud backups.
  • Google Drive recovery or key material may remain after recognized backup packages are deleted.
  • The Google Account itself is not deleted by Bepari.
  • Old cloud backup snapshots may contain data that was later deleted locally, including a deleted shop.
  • Files you exported, shared, or copied outside Bepari-managed storage may remain in the destination you selected.

Retention and automatic deletion

Bepari does not automatically delete user data after 90 days. Use the applicable in-app deletion controls described above when you want local data or recognized Google Drive backup packages deleted.
